Our client is a leading global firm, with a dominating presence in the New Zealand Insolvency, Litigation and Restructuring & Turnaround markets. Due to the increased demand for their specialised services, we’re seeking a Senior Analyst or Manager to join their elite team on a permanent basis. The position sits within their dynamic Restructuring & Turnaround team.
You will work with both publicly listed and private companies on a range of engagements across a range of industries. Engagements may include interim CFO appointments, urgent restructuring and stabilising, financial distress, business performance review, or integration following M&A activity or significant business change. You will be part of a specialised consultancy team which advises and supports businesses through periods of significant change or uncertainty.
This role requires an experienced and highly capable finance professional with a strong analytical profile and skill set. Analysis sits at the core of this position; analysis of both financial and non-financial data to understand business drivers, industry specifics, market positioning, product/service viability etc. Therefore, experience working with financial models is viewed as essential to your success.
Equally important, you will have a collaborative interpersonal profile, capable of generating buy-in with a diverse range of internal stakeholders whilst engaging effectively with other external parties.
We are targeting candidates within consulting/advisory, with experience in restructuring and turnaround engagements. Candidates with experience in industry within a commercial finance capacity are also of interest.
