Role Summary
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role plays a key part in delivering high-quality financial insights, planning and analysis for a complex, evolving company. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, support performance management, enhance reporting capability and drive continuous improvement across financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present monthly revenue, cost and performance reports with clear, insightful commentary.
- Build and maintain robust financial models to support decision-making and track key business metrics.
- Deliver timely and accurate analysis across programmes, revenue streams and cost centres.
- Drive improvements in reporting quality through automation, optimisation and better data processes.
- Develop new reporting tools and dashboards using existing and emerging technologies (incl. AI).
- Lead core components of the financial planning cycle, including rolling forecasts and annual budgets.
- Ensure models and assumptions align with strategic plans and KPI frameworks.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation to support financial performance and governance.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of financial systems, controls and processes.
Core Competencies & Experience
- CA/CPA (or equivalent) with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in a commercial environment.
- Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting capability with high attention to detail.
- Experience with modern finance systems; exposure to Dynamics 365, Adaptive and Power BI advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to challenge assumptions and drive better outcomes.
- Proven organisational and time-management skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Big 4 or large-corporate background highly regarded.
