The Company:

Our client is a leading supplement brand and manufacturer who are experiencing strong growth in both New Zealand and overseas markets. From humble beginnings, they have built a loyal customer base with the goal of improving health for their customers over a number of categories within the vitamin and supplement industry.

The Opportunity:

Based in the newly acquired warehouse, this role will see you working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that there is accuracy and timely dispatch of all orders to customers.

You will receive, monitor, and process daily freight movements (local, air, sea). Critical to this role is ensuring the correct paperwork/order is in place for all shipments and their importers/exporters. NetSuite is the system in which our client works on.

Given the business is in the process of setting up an additional recently acquired warehouse, there will be the opportunity for you to be involved in the setting up and implementation of processes.
Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage the dispatch of orders
  • Coordinator product dispatch process (from plant to customer) and complete dispatch documentation for all relevant carries/customers
  • Collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service provers, and others involved in the shipment and dispatch of orders
  • Track, trace and update the status of all outgoing shipments
  • Help with the unloading/loading of freight trucks/containers
  • Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily dispatch moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately
  • Be willing to assist with any other warehouse activity (cycle counting, picking etc)
