A multi-national FMCG business with an impressive customer base and a substantial footprint in the New Zealand market. The business is able to demonstrate strong growth and an unerring commitment to Continuous Improvement and ongoing investment in their operations and people.
The business is focusing on supply chain optimisation and is now recruiting an S&OP Specialist who will manage day-to-day activities and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives across purchasing and supply chain.
Working as part a key member of the Supply Chain & Purchasing Team, this role will be responsible for operational buying and demand planning.
Your key responsibilities include, though are not limited to:
- Forecasting and demand planning
- Operational purchasing
- Sourcing products
- Category management and development
- Supplier relationship management
- Problem-solving and identifying areas for improvement
- Planning and analysis using Excel
With impressive experience in planning and purchasing, ideally, in an FMCG or retail environment, you will bring enthusiasm and energy and the ability, with strong to build and develop effective and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will be equally as comfortable dealing with high volume transactions and carrying out complex reporting, analytical and planning activities. With a good eye for detail, you will be solutions-focused and eager to learn and develop.
