Our client is a multi-national FMCG business with an impressive customer base and a substantial footprint in the New Zealand market. The business is able to demonstrate strong growth and an unerring commitment to Continuous Improvement and ongoing investment in its operations and people.
The business is focusing on supply chain optimisation and is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the team on a short term basis to provide support to the Supply Chain Team and take on responsibilities primarily across planning and logistics to assist with a current project within the business.
The Opportunity (2 Month Contract)
Working as part of the Supply Chain Team, this role will be responsible for assisting the supply chain team with a current warehousing project and day-to-day supply chain activities across planning and logistics.
Your key responsibilities include, though are not limited to:
- Materials planning
- Warehouse reporting
- Master data management on Excel
- Preparing supply chain reports and analysis
- Supporting the supply chain team with demand forecasting, supply planning and S&OP
- The opportunity to be involved in Continuous Improvement projects
What’s in it for you?
You will likely be degree-qualified in Operations or Supply Chain Management and have some practical experience in supply chain ideally, in an FMCG or retail environment. You will bring enthusiasm and energy and the ability to build and develop effective and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role is likely for a two month period though there may be opportunities to slightly extend dependent on work available.
You will be equally as comfortable dealing with high volume transactions and carrying out reporting, analytical and planning activities. With a good eye for detail, you will be solutions-focused and eager to learn and develop.
