A New Zealand owned and operated business with significant international backing who specialise in health and wellbeing products with proven science behind their products. They are a successful start-up supplying local and international markets with quality products. The culture is that of a small business where the team all love to be challenged, enjoy rolling up their sleeves to get the job done while having a lot of fun along the way. As a result of the business continuing to grow and taking on new international markets, they are looking to employ a Mandarin speaking Supply Chain Manager to provide leadership and coordination of their end to end supply chain in what is a key hire for their business.
As the Supply Chain Manager you will report to the General Manager and manage the companies end to end supply chain activities which will include the below key responsibilities:
- Inventory management of both finished goods and raw materials
- Management of all planning and forecasting across demand and supply
- Purchasing of raw materials and packaging from both local and international suppliers
- Procurement and sourcing of raw materials and packaging including negotiating contracts
- Manage key relationships with third party logistics and manufacturing providers including quality and health and safety
- Reporting and analysis of key supply chain reports and data

Some experience working within FMCG and/or health is preferred given the product range, though the key traits we are looking for is a supply chain professional with a great hands on attitude who wants the opportunity to take on challenges and run a successful supply chain while working in a team of passionate people who love what they do. Given the markets they are entering into, they need someone who can speak Mandarin in order to build successful relationships with these markets and stakeholders.
