A high profile, global import and distribution business specialising in the medical and healthcare sector. They are highly regarded for their sustainable approach to manufacturing and a commitment to environmental work practices far higher than industry standards or requirements.
An opportunity has arisen for a Supply Planner to join the company for an initial contract of 3-months with the potential to extend further.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, your role will be diverse and challenging and the main responsibilities will include, though not be limited to the following:
- Ordering finished goods from overseas
- 3PL relationship management
- Supply planning to ensure optimal DIFOT across NZ and international sites
- Inventory planning and analysis
- Supplier relationship management
- Supporting the Supply Chain Manager with Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives
The role covers a lot of responsibility and scope across supply chain management – essentially all aspects with the exception of warehousing and demand planning.
What’s in it for you
You will be a confident ‘hands-on’ operator with some practical experience in supply chain – ideally in supply or inventory planning. Some experience in ERP would be highly regarded and previous experience in supply planning is essential.
