- Busy warehouse environment in the raw ingredients FMCG space.

- Future opportunities beckon for the right candidate who can perform well.
At MAURI, we are genuinely excited by the role baking plays in our food culture. As an integral part of the George Weston Foods group, we are passionate about all things made with high quality flours, yeasts, pre-mixes and improvers and also have a dedicated animal nutrition and feeds team. As a leading industry supplier, we mill over one million tonnes of grain across 14 sites in Australia and New Zealand. We maintain a strong focus on innovation / industry insights and align closely with our customers that create the products enjoyed by millions of consumers each day. If you share our passion for food and baking, MAURI can develop your career in this diverse, dynamic and vibrant industry.
MAURI is currently looking to employ a Warehouse Manager for their busy Auckland site in Otahuhu. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your current skillset and help upskill and lead the team already in place.
We are looking for a committed Warehouse Manager to lead a team of 6-10, depending on peak periods, that include Storemen, a Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator and a Warehouse Supervisor who has been with the business for some time.
The Auckland site supplies two other sites in Wellington and Christchurch, so we need a Warehouse Manager that can liaise with both production and customer service / sales to make sure both internal & external client demand is being met. Our client uses a number of carriers for transport and shipping, as they do export some product overseas, so exposure to MPI and export experience would be advantageous. This successful candidate will most likely come from an FMCG background.
Additionally, we are looking for a capable leader who wants to upskill the current team and put in place robust processes for future growth. As the Warehouse Manager you will be across production, inwards goods, outwards goods, health & safety, MPI, inventory & despatch – hence we need an all-rounder. Our client uses SAP, so previous exposure is critical.
What’s in it for you…
The chance to work for an amazing company with a proud history, MAURI has a track record of developing their staff and creating succession plans for valued employees. If you want to work with a wide range of stakeholders to have a positive impact on the business, then this role would be well suited. This is a humble, hard working environment where attitude is everything.
