As consumer demand grows and their footprint across New Zealand and Australia continues to expand, we are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to help take this beloved brand into its next phase of growth across personal wash, skincare, haircare and aircare. The role:
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you will coordinate brand, innovation, digital and shopper marketing activity across both markets. The role exists to support an increased level of activity and lift delivery speed, giving the senior team room to focus on strategy and the innovation pipeline.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate NPD projects through the Stage and Gate process
  • Manage influencer and agency relationships end to end
  • Support campaign planning and creative rollout across retail, PR and digital
  • Deliver shopper marketing across NZ and AU: in-store, POS and trade presenters
  • Support retailer e-commerce, CPP and go-to-market requirements
  • Manage social media, website content, paid search and AI search alongside agency partners
  • Support forecasting, sample management, budget administration and campaign reporting

Key skills and experience required:

  • Initiative, drive and a bias for action
  • FMCG or consumer goods brand marketing experience is a significant advantage
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or a related discipline
  • Proven ability to run multiple projects against moving deadlines
  • Comfortable briefing and creating social content, with an eye for design
  • Exposure to digital, influencer or retailer marketing, plus strong PowerPoint and Excel
  • Australian market experience in FMCG, beauty or retail is a big tick
  • Resilient and adaptable; late-breaking requests come with the territory
  • Collaborative, hands-on and happy to get stuck into the detail

What’s in it for you:
This is a newly created role with real scope to shape it. You will own influencer, shopper and digital execution across two markets and four categories, working directly with the Senior Brand Manager, NPD Projects Manager & Head of Marketing while also working closely with Sales, Category, Supply Chain and Product Development. You will also help build Glow Lab’s digital capability, including AI search, across both New Zealand and Australia.

The Role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this newly created role is all about owning the organic social media presence and producing video content that brings the brand to life. You will work closely with the marketing team to plan, film, edit and publish content that educates, entertains and grows the company’s online following across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage organic social media across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
  • Film, edit and publish short-form and long-form video content optimised for each platform
  • Plan and execute the organic content calendar alongside the Marketing Manager
  • Jump on trends, experiment with formats, and find new ways to stop the scroll
  • Create behind-the-scenes content, team stories, event coverage and culture pieces
  • Engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages
  • Design visual assets for social media and digital marketing using Adobe Creative Suite

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • 2+ years’ experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Strong video shooting and editing skills for social platforms
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, including what works on each
  • Confident and comfortable on camera, with the energy to approach people at all levels for interviews and content
  • A natural trend-spotter who is genuinely obsessed with social media
  • Financial services experience a bonus, not essential
