About the Role:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely commercial analysis and reporting to internal stakeholders. You’ll play a key part in optimising trade spend, enhancing gross profit, and supporting sales initiatives with data-driven insights. This is a hands-on position where you’ll lead the charge on reporting improvements, pricing analysis, customer profitability, and vendor transitions. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and optimise trade spend to improve gross profit margins
- Lead the commercial transition process for new vendors and brands
- Maintain and update promotional grids with gross profit data
- Review and assess customer agreements to drive commercial value
- Support Key Account Managers with new customer commercial terms
- Deliver commercial insights that influence strategy and focus
Key Experience and Attributes:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a commercial or analytical role in an FMCG environment
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in Power BI reporting and automation
- Exposure to AI tools or techniques is highly desirable
- Confident communicator who can translate data into actionable insights
- Strong collaboration skills across different functions
