Role Summary:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll own a Northland territory spanning Dargaville, Whangarei and coast to coast. The role blends account management with new business development, giving you the chance to grow an already strong portfolio in one of the region’s standout growth areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the territory sales plan across Dargaville, Whangarei and wider Northland.
  • Manage and grow existing farmer accounts while actively pursuing new business.
  • Deliver proactive, tailored farm advice built on trust and follow-through.
  • Build strong relationships direct with farmers, plus retail and merchant partners.
  • Represent the brand at local field days and community events.
  • Keep CRM and sales pipeline accurate, current and well managed.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales KPIs and targets.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven ability to manage and grow accounts alongside winning new business.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a self-starter mindset.
  • Comfortable with significant travel across a large rural territory.
  • Agricultural background or farm systems knowledge highly regarded.
  • On-farm technical sales experience preferred; strong retail/merchant candidates also considered.
  • Confident using CRM and digital sales tools.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.

Role Summary
  
Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you will manage and grow a defined South Island territory from Christchurch to Nelson. You will build strong trade and retail relationships, drive in-store execution, and deliver against sales and profit targets in an autonomous, field-based capacity.
  
Key Responsibilities  

  • Manage and grow sales across a defined South Island territory and customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade, hardware and retail decision-makers
  • Deliver against sales, profit and fixed expense budgets for the territory
  • Drive in-store merchandising, ranging and promotional execution
  • Identify and maximise product and promotional opportunities in-store
  • Conduct business reviews and maintain quality call and CRM records

Key Skills & Experience Required  

  • Strong sales, influencing and negotiation skills
  • 3+ years’ experience in FMCG and hardware industries or environments selling into large retailers is preferred
  • Degree in sales, marketing, finance or similar beneficial but not essential
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical thinking and customer service focus
  • Comfortable with regular regional travel, including occasional nights away
  • CRM discipline and confident, professional communication style
  • Self-motivated and comfortable operating autonomously in the field
