About Ken

As a Founding Partner of Hunter Campbell, I take great pride in managing New Zealand’s most effective Supply Chain, Operations and Procurement search and recruitment team. I thrive on working with organisations to enhance their productivity and further enable their end-to-end supply chains through top talent.

My focus is on partnering with businesses, gaining insight into their operations and then sourcing and deploying Supply Chain, Operations and Procurement experts who can optimise their value chains. I make sure these experts are people who understand how to manage the cost-to-serve equation and improve productivity, throughput and efficiencies. They must also know what “great” looks like, and how to navigate and lead a team to get there.

My deployment to Angola as a young Army Officer managing a complex supply chain was my induction into the sector. Since then, my experience has been honed in a range of environments. I have managed manufacturing and distribution operations as a General Manager for an iconic NZ outdoor brand, owned a successful food business and sat on supply chain advisory boards.

I have experience in both senior roles in the supply chain and operations and now in recruiting for them – and I believe this combination brings unique benefits to the organisations we work with.

Life Outside the Office

Life outside work revolves around a mix of my family (3 children spread all over the country), backcountry mountain biking with a bunch of good mates, a bit of spearfishing over the warmer months and burying my head in a good book. Oh, and travel when we get there again!
