I believe recruitment should be as simple and straightforward for my clients as possible; I deliver this through effective communication at all stages of the process. Taking a thorough brief and truly understanding the role is critical for me to cover the market constructively, and from there, accurately represent my client’s business and opportunity in the best way possible to the market.
After obtaining my BCom majoring in Supply Chain Management & Marketing, my first working years were spent gaining invaluable experience with Mainfreight across both operations and sales. I then spent a couple of years doing my OE through Europe while being based out of the UK. Here, I worked in Project Management before making my way back to NZ to begin my career in recruitment. I originally specialised in sales and now, into my 5th year in recruitment, am focused on Supply Chain, Operations and Procurement for Hunter Campbell.
The alignment of my education and supply chain work experience puts me ahead of most as a recruitment consultant in this sector, having been on both sides of the fence and understanding first-hand, the challenges and opportunities of the industry. Not only have I had the opportunity to learn a lot about the sector, I have also worked with a vast scope of candidates and clients to provide insights into what ‘great’ looks like across the market.

Life Outside the Office
Spending time with my wife, friends, family and my dog are usually at the forefront, along with a determined interest in running to stay fit. A keen passion of mine is golf and I make a concerted effort to get out on the course as much as possible with mates and head away on as many golf trips as possible. Although it will be a long time until the handicap is at a respectable level!
