About Trina
My role as Finance Manager sees me manage a wide range of responsibilities, from traditional accounting duties, monthly reporting, accounts payable & receivable functions and tax accountabilities through to HR functions, payroll and assisting in any other business support initiatives.
I have a strong eye for detail and for continuous improvements across processes and systems to ensure we are using them to their full potential. I am an advocate for best practice, accuracy in the numbers and good simple communication.
With a Bachelor of Business and a member of CA ANZ for over 20 years, I have held a number of senior accounting and finance roles, predominately in the Finance industry. I spent time working in London for large banking corporations and upon returning home to New Zealand spent a further 10 years working in the banking sector as a Senior Finance Business Partner. My current role at Hunter Campbell has enabled me to step back from full time employment to spend more time with family and friends and to pursue other interests.
Life Outside the Office
Together with my husband David, as parents of two active teenage boys life outside of work is busy! When I do manage to find time for myself I enjoy keeping active, whether it be going for a run, biking or taking our dogs for long walks at our local beach, Muriwai. I also volunteer a large amount of time to my local football club as a board member and running the club’s treasury function.
