The Role
Reporting into the CEO, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance to oversee financial operations, reporting, and business planning. This role is critical in driving financial performance through robust financial management, commercial finance support and cost optimsation. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on operator, have a strong analytical mindset, experience in financial planning, and the ability to partner with key stakeholders to drive profitability and efficiency.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial governance and leadership to support the sustainable growth of RFC including capital matters, financial accounting, management accounting, forecasting and budget management.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and the board, to support strategic decision-making and act as a trusted advisor by providing financial insights and recommendations to drive financial performance. Support the business planning process for RFC, including the preparation of an annual plan and 3-5 year plan.
  • Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.  Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance to senior management and the board. 
  • Proactively partner with the team to identify, develop and implement productivity, performance and profit improvement opportunities as well as prepare business cases for investment decisions.
  • Ensure there are appropriate processes in place to manage RFC’s funding and cash flows over short, medium and longer term. Maintain an appropriate Treasury policy and report performance against approved Treasury policy and objectives, including foreign exchange and cash flow management.

  
About You:
The successful candidate will ideally be CA/CPA qualified with broad based skills across financial control as well as commercial finance. It’s essential that you have gained exposure in a fast paced and high growth organisation, with a background specifically in FMCG, manufacturing or similar will be highly advantageous. 
 
You will be autonomous, driven and self-directed with a track-record of delivering multiple workstreams to deadline. You show initiative and innovation and have the ability to solve complex issues with sound judgement. Excellent interpersonal skills will help you engage across multiple teams and partner well at a senior level.

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capability (IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis)
