The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive financial advice and insights to the CEO and Board
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Ensure full compliance with insurance industry regulations, taxation obligations, and financial reporting standards
  • Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and all financial operations
  • Deliver accurate monthly reporting and analysis to support decision-making

Skills & Experience
You’re a seasoned finance leader with experience operating at an executive or senior leadership level. You combine technical financial expertise with commercial insight and can operate comfortably between strategy, operations, and hands-on delivery. Some of your expertise will include:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive
  • Strong technical accounting foundation
  • Deep knowledge of financial governance, compliance, and risk management
  • Experience in regulated industries (insurance or financial services advantageous)
  • Strong analytical capability and comfort managing detailed financial operations
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to influence at CEO and Board level

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – questions the “why” behind processes

The Role
The hands on Finance Manager will be the face of Finance and take ownership of all financial operations as the company scales globally. This pivotal role will manage everything from day-to-day accounting through to forecasting, financial strategy and insights. Initially, working closely with the fractional Finance partner, Oxygen Advisors, with a plan to bring these responsibilities in-house as the finance team grows.

Key responsibilities will include the following (but not limited to):

  • Lead full-cycle accounting operations
  • Manage forecasting, budgeting, and cashflow planning
  • Prepare monthly management reports and board reporting support
  • Implement and optimise financial systems, tools and processes
  • Ensure compliance, tax filings and regulatory obligations are met

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years’ progressive accounting experience, ideally in high-growth or SaaS environments, but not essential
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Strong technical accounting and financial modelling capability
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with equity management and investor relations is a plus
