About the role:

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, this role will see you managing all aspects of logistics (import and export). You will be responsible for developing efficient logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of goods (thus meaning you coordinate with Freight Forwarders, suppliers, manufacturers and retailers) to ensure seamless movement of raw materials and finished goods. Layered with this will be the responsibility of monitoring inventory levels and working with the SCM to forecast future inventory requirements. With support from the SCM, you will manage relationships with Freight Forwarders and 3PLs. This role will require you to ensure all logistics activities comply with industry standards and legal regulations (in reference to shipping documentation required).

This role is a permanent part-time role (30 hours per week). In time, as the business grows, there may be an opportunity to increase your hours. You may be looking to step back into the work force after being on parental leave or you may be looking to wind down on the hours you are working each week. You will enjoy an extremely flexible working arrangement. You can work from the offices in Albany each day or work from home. The only requirement is for you to work in the office one day per fortnight.

About you?
  
To be successful in this role, you will have a thorough understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain. Experience in freight/logistics is essential with a strong preference for someone who has FMCG or manufacturing environment-based experience. You will be quick to pick up new systems and be savvy on Excel. You will have a keen-to-learn attitude and be willing to work cross-functionally across the supply chain.

About the role:

With a new Supply Chain Manager having recently joined the business, a restructure to drive efficiency and optimisation within the Supply Chain has come about. With this, a newly created role has evolved. This role will see you supporting the procurement team with inventory coordination, logistics coordination and managing and maintaining product and pricing master data. It is an opportunity for you to grow your foundations in the supply chain space.


About you:

To be successful in this role, you will be analytical, have very good attention to detail, be a proactive and collaborative communicator and be initiative driven. You will have knowledge and understanding of the Supply Chain principles and be confident in navigating new systems/using Microsoft Excel.

Main Responsibilities 

As Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for;

  • Providing leadership for the manufacturing team (of 5 direct and 80 indirect reports) working on a 2 shift pattern Monday-Friday.
  • Creating a culture and environment that enables the site to perform at the highest possible level
  • Providing pace-setting leadership for the operations teams through the development and implementation of High Performing Workplace systems of work
  • Driving out waste and inefficiencies while improving productivity and yields
  • Developing engagement and empowerment at all levels of the operations team-building skills, capability and contribution
