Our client is a New Zealand-owned organisation that is changing the face of some of our country’s logistics network through a dynamic and data-driven approach to optimisation. 

About the role:

In this role, you will be joining a large, innovative planning and optimisation team where you will utilise various tools and spreadsheets to optimise long term plans into short term plans. In this role, you will be quick to absorb, synthesise and analyse diverse information while challenging long-term assumptions to identify improvement opportunities and enhance our clients’ DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time).
  
This role requires regular interaction with customers as you work collaboratively with them to problem-solve based in the insights that come out from the data. You need to be comfortable engaging with external stakeholders and have the ability to bring people together through change.

To be successful in the position you will: 

  • Have strong stakeholder management capability with the skills to bring people together when problem-solving
  • Be highly analytical with modelling skills
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in a role with analytics in it
  • Have a relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain/ logistics/ economics or statistics
  • Have a strong appetite to learn

The Role:

THL are looking for an Accountant to join them for a 6-month fixed term contract to maintain BAU whilst some members of the finance team undergo an internal project. As the Accountant you will support the finance team, with a particular focus in Fixed Assets, reporting into the Accounting Manager.

Duties will include:

  • Run fixed assets register – including work in progress, new purchases, sales and depreciation
  • Assisting with new fleet finance and repayments
  • Review payment runs
  • Account reconciliation between rental and vehicle sales business
  • Assist with financial and management accounting
  • Month end reporting – including P&L and balance sheet
  • Provide wider team with accounting information and analysis as required.
  • Support the wider finance function where necessary


You will have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work across multiple systems 
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • MS D365 experience would be beneficial

The Company:

This role is fully office based.

The Role: 
Due to maternity leave within the team, they are needing an accounts payable officer for the next 12 months if not longer. The role reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable function for the business. Your duties will include, but are not limited to the below.

  • Process and enter invoices accurately.
  • Schedule and make timely payments.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance and prepare reports.
  • Review and maintenance of the aged payables ledger.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly payment batches.
  • Support Finance Manager with account reconciliation.
  • Maintain positive supplier relationships and resolve issues.
  • Support the wider finance team as and when required.

About You
You will have a strong accounts background, with experience in end-to-end/sole charge AP. You will be confident in quickly picking up processes and ensuring the smooth running of BAU. You will have a high attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and will have great communication and relationship-building skills. Experience working with Xero and automated invoicing systems is ideal but not essential.

The Role

As Interim CFO, you will report directly to the New Zealand CEO and the Group CFO in Australia. Your role will involve a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on management. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the groups month-end financial process and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain robust cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Supervise and consolidate group budgets and forecasts, focusing on the P&L and Balance Sheet to ensure comprehensive financial oversight.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning and decision-making, providing financial insights.
  • Lead and drive change management initiatives within the finance function and across the business.

Your Profile

You bring a proven track record of successfully leading medium-sized teams with a hands-on, engaging approach. Your experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments complements your ability to maintain momentum and drive performance.

You excel in technical oversight and are adept at identifying and implementing improvements in business systems and processes. Immediate availability and a CA or CPA qualification are essential for this role.
