An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced planning and purchasing professional to join the team and manage inventory for one of their largest customers.

About the Role:

This role, reporting to one of our client’s supply chain leads, is an initial 2-month contract. You will be responsible for the seamless coordination of inventory between suppliers and a major customer, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely replenishment.

About You:

To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in planning or purchasing, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills are a must. Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel is essential. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.

The Role

  • Monthly Reporting: Preparing month-end management accounts, including reconciliations, and assisting in variance analysis and error investigation.

  • Annual Tasks: Assisting in year-end audits, supporting with GST/FBT/PAYE returns, and contributing to tax return preparations for all entities.
  • Project Support: Assisting with various finance-related projects and functions as required.
  • Building Relationships: Maintaining positive relationships with internal teams, managers, auditors, and distribution partners.

Qualifications and Skills:

The successful candidate will be a CA qualified Accountant with broad base of skills across management accounting and analysis. It’s essential that you have gained exposure to the commercial sector in a fast paced and complex organisation, with a background specifically in services or similar highly advantageous. 

You must be immediately available or at the back end of your current assignment.
