About the Company:

The Role:

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of the financial reporting, control framework, and compliance obligations across a broad remit. The role oversees offshore AP/AR operations, payroll reporting, treasury management, and month-end close, while partnering closely with the CFO on statutory accounts, audit preparation, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead month-end reporting including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and board pack inputs
  • Oversee offshore AP/AR team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and process adherence
  • Manage payroll reporting, reviewing outsourced payroll data for compliance and financial integration
  • Prepare daily and weekly cashflow forecasts and manage treasury oversight with CFO
  • Prepare GST and FBT returns; support annual income tax and IFRS statutory accounts
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting of overhead costs and balance sheet movements

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • CA, CPA, or CIMA qualified – this is a must!
  • 5+ years in financial reporting, financial control, and cashflow/treasury management
  • Experience overseeing AP/AR functions, including offshore or outsourced operations
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems required
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Manufacturing or operational industry background advantageous

The Role

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities at pace
  • CA/CPA qualification preferred but not essential
  • Retail, FMCG, or similarly complex commercial environment advantageous

About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will step into a Supply Chain Lead role for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will manage one direct report and take ownership of the business’s import and export operations, with a sharp focus on cost control and logistics performance.

At the core of this role is managing international freight, container operations, and direct shipping contracts with carriers. You will drive cost efficiencies across the supply chain, optimise 3PL arrangements, and ensure logistics spend is kept in check. Export operations to Australia and the Pacific Islands are a significant part of the remit, with high-volume pallet movements requiring careful planning and execution.

Beyond freight and cost, you will also oversee demand planning, procurement, customs clearance, MPI compliance, and DIFOT performance, keeping the broader operation running smoothly.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience managing international imports and exports, including container operations
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving down logistics costs
  • Experience with 3PL management and direct carrier negotiations
  • Familiarity with customs clearance and MPI compliance
  • Confident working directly with senior leadership

What You’ll Be Doing
