Our client is a New Zealand-owned organisation that is changing the face of some of our country’s logistics network through a dynamic and data-driven approach to optimisation.
About the role:
In this role, you will be joining a large, innovative planning and optimisation team where you will utilise various tools and spreadsheets to optimise long term plans into short term plans. In this role, you will be quick to absorb, synthesise and analyse diverse information while challenging long-term assumptions to identify improvement opportunities and enhance our clients’ DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time).
This role requires regular interaction with customers as you work collaboratively with them to problem-solve based in the insights that come out from the data. You need to be comfortable engaging with external stakeholders and have the ability to bring people together through change.
To be successful in the position you will:
- Have strong stakeholder management capability with the skills to bring people together when problem-solving
- Be highly analytical with modelling skills
- Have 1-3 years of experience in a role with analytics in it
- Have a relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain/ logistics/ economics or statistics
- Have a strong appetite to learn
