About the Company

We are excited to partner with New Zealand’s top short-term holiday home rental management company, overseeing a portfolio of more than 2,000 holiday homes across the country.
  
About the role

As SEO Specialist you will take ownership of the businesses organic search performance, driving growth and conversions through proactive outreach. This involves optimising landing pages to secure top rankings in search results, ultimately increasing sessions, bookings, and leads from both guests and owners.

The position will have a strategic focus, emphasising research and analytics on keywords and trends to help the business continuously enhance and adapt how their targeted market strategy.

The role is part-time permanent, 3 full working days week ideally from Tuesday to Thursday, which equates to 24 hours per week.
  
Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, purposeful, and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions, to enhance SEO rankings for targeted keywords.
  • Continuously discover, expand, and optimise keywords, including long-tail keyword research.
  • Analyse top-performing keywords and landing pages while conducting regular audits to refine strategy and performance.
  • Assess data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to develop strategies, identify new SEO opportunities, and improve efficiencies.
  • Manage blogs and landing pages effectively.

  
About you

  • Strong SEO & Content writing expertise – Knows best SEO practices and principles, ensuring that all content is optimised for search engines while remaining engaging for readers. Skilled in crafting high-quality, relevant content that aligns with target keywords and drive organic growth.
  • Culture Fit – Possesses a positive and engaging attitude, thriving in collaborative environments. Values teamwork and actively contributes to a close-knit team atmosphere. Willing to learn and proactive in what they do
  • General Knowledge of PPC, Google Ads and Analytics – has foundational understanding and is familiar with Google Analytics to analyse campaign performance and track key metrics that inform SEO strategies.
  • Industry – Ideally has experience within the travel and tourism sector, enabling a nuanced understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
