The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the Senior Accounts Officer at FRAMECAD will be crucial in the delivery of accurate and timely accounting records, and contribute towards continuous improvements, automation, and good internal control practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of staff expense claims, credit card transactions, petty cash, supplier invoices, and other accounts as required (primarily in foreign currency) in the ERP system.
  • Monthly reconciliation of designated accounts.
  • Prepare reconciliations and action on agreed follow-ups.
  • Regularly and systematically file invoices, staff expense claims, and supporting documents.
  • Support Banking and Credit Control with processing and reconciliations as required.
  • Support with end of month processing queries and assist with annual external financial audits as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of business controls, systems, and processes.
  • Support the finance team as and when required on other tasks, as assigned by your manager.

Your Profile
You will have 5+ years of experience in an accounts payable / receivable role and will therefore be able to demonstrate an ability to hit the ground running in an Accounts Officer role. Ideally, you will have experience working within an international business with foreign currency transactions and have used SAP Business One or a similar ERP system. Previous experience in technology, construction, or manufacturing industries is highly advantageous. You will have a keen eye for automation and continuous improvements across processes and internal controls. You will have great attention to detail, strong communication skills, and will be comfortable in a fast-growing organisation.

The Role

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, transactions (NZ & AU), and monetary assets whilst efficiently meeting the needs of stakeholders. You will be backed by a great Finance Team with the support of an impressive Finance Manager who is keen to mentor young accounting professionals. 
  
Key responsibilities:

  • Code and record supplier invoices
  • Prepare 20th of the month payment batch for creditor payments and reconcile supplier statements
  • Handle supplier and credit card queries
  • Facilitate and process employee expense reimbursements
  • Process and record credit card transactions
  • Appropriately allocate sales invoices, ensuring overdue invoices are followed up
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

About You

Ideally, you will have experience working as an Accounts Assistant / Administrator and enjoy working within an SME environment. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be eager to learn and upskill under great mentorship. You will enjoy being part of and contributing to a supportive team and will have exceptional organisational skills. You will have a tertiary qualification in accounting/business and will be driven to grow within your accounting career.

The Opportunity

As the Accounts Administrator, you will be reporting to the Company Accountant and will support the finance team with a range of accounting duties. This is an exciting and busy time for the business as they go through a system implementation, so will help keep BAU running smoothly and take on ad hoc tasks as required.

The Role
As the Fixed Asset Assistant Accountant, you will own the fixed asset register and be responsible for the completion of all tasks related to the capitalisation, depreciation, amortisation and disposal of fixed assets/leased assets and the financial management of the fixed/leased asset register including accounting and tax.
