I pride myself on using CVs and job descriptions as guidelines and not law. This combined with my consultative approach allows me to find the genuinely ‘right’ person for my clients.
I take a long-term approach; I place exceptional candidates into roles in which they excel and advance, rather than to just fill a vacancy. My undergraduate degree in Politics and Philosophy taught me about the complexity of humans and our systems – recruitment and the labour market are the quintessence of those ideas.
My experience centres on recruiting Risk and Compliance professionals within Financial Services. I have a strong understanding of the financial system ecosystem and how the banks, insurers, regulators, and advisory/management firms all work together. In my time, I have developed a strong network in this space and as a result have helped further advance many careers, teams, and businesses. However, I am always keen to improve and have begun a master’s degree in Applied Finance this year to better understand my client’s and candidate’s.

Life Outside the Office
Outside of work and study, like most Kiwis, most of my time is spent either watching or playing sports with mates. Rugby, cricket, skiing and basketball are my favourites. I am a passionate southerner and enjoy spending time in Otago and Southland to visit family, ski, dive, and fish.
