About Erin
As Manager of the Marketing and Communications team, I am excited by the challenge of building teams with top talent that delivers. Getting the right people, in the right roles, is fundamental to the success of any business. I take pride in my ability to understand my clients and the drivers of their success, which enables me to quickly identify the roles and talent they need to thrive.
I am lucky to work with a diverse range of businesses, each with their own unique requirements. I have recruited across a variety of industries and continue to enjoy long lasting relationships with my clients as they grow their teams and market presence. I love how my role allows me to act as an advisor to those clients, adding value at all stages of the recruitment process.
My recruitment career includes having acted as Head of Talent and Development at a leading New Zealand technology company, with a focus on recruitment across marketing, product and sales. Exposure to the technology sector has ignited a passion for all things digital and in particular, the growth and advancement of digital marketing. Before recruitment, I was a litigation lawyer for seven years, working for top law firms in New Zealand and Singapore. What I enjoyed most about my legal career was working closely with clients to navigate and resolve complex issues. This experience has proved invaluable to my recruitment career. My diverse professional experience means that I can draw on a broad network across multiple sectors.
Life Outside the Office
I have two cheeky and active little ones, Nico and Willa, who keep me busy. My husband James, and two dogs (Barry and Hank), make up the rest of my immediate family. We love to travel and are fortunate to have family who live in the Coromandel, Dunedin and Central Otago. An ideal afternoon for me would be spent at a Central Otago vineyard with family and friends, enjoying a glass of bubbles or a good red and some delicious food.
I keep active (when I can!), and running is my ‘go to’ for fitness. I occasionally dabble in the odd trail run or half marathon. I love to read, enjoy a good horror or war film, and get to a live show when possible, whether it be music, comedy, or a film festival.
