Hunter Campbell is delighted to congratulate Owen Wang on his recent appointment as Senior Financial Analyst at Fletcher Building.
Owen has joined Fletcher Wood Products (FWP) – a newly established business within the Building Products division of Fletcher Building (FB). The business represents FB’s re-entry into the wood sector which is supported by strong macro trends and contributes to NZ’s goal of a low-carbon circular economy. FWP encompasses sawmilling assets in Waipapa and the delivery of a new wood panel production plant in Taupo.
As Senior Financial Analyst, Owen will be working with Jeremy Yan to provide robust quantitative & qualitative analysis, financial modelling, investment analysis and business intelligence/insights to support the Fletcher Wood Products businesses.
Owen is a chartered accountant with prior experience at PwC within their Deals team as a Corporate Finance Manager. At PwC, Owen was providing valuations and financial modelling services to clients, including valuation of assets, business valuations, financial model build and review, and other value analytics to support business decision making.
