As Senior Group Accountant reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the completion of their corporate accounting activities. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

– Preparation and review of financial and management accounts
– Monthly consolidation and review of financial results including analysis of variances to budget
– Assisting the preparation of the monthly finance report to be included in Board reporting
– Competition of indirect taxation returns for review and income taxation returns
– Preparing IFRS year end financial statements 
– Managing the treasury function 
– Assist with insurance renewal process 

The ideal candidate will be CA qualified and technically strong with proven experience with IFRS reporting and experience in a group role with consolidation responsibility. As part of this close-knit, collaborative team you will have regular exposure to senior members of the organisation therefore excellent communication skills are also essential.

The Role

  • Responsibility for meeting all payroll related tax obligations with the IRD including timely and accurate filing/payment of PAYE & Kiwi saver
  • Performing system testing and data audits where required
  • Answering payroll related queries
  • Reconciling payroll headcount 

About You
You will have at least 5 years experience in Payroll with Datacom experience desirable.

The Role
