On Friday the 10th of September, Ken Webb, Lee Marshall, and John Nevill from Hunter Campbell were pleased to host a table at the Charity lunch in Support of Big Buddy. Big Buddy is a fantastic charity that matches great mentors for fatherless boys between the ages of 7-14.
They have a simple and pragmatic philosophy that fatherless boys develop more courage and confidence in their lives when they have positive role models to learn from.
The Charity lunch was a great success and raised $31,000.00 for Big Buddy. Ian Jones did a great job as master of ceremonies and told some very funny and insightful stories of his pathway to becoming an All Black. The event was hosted by the wonderful team from Regatta Bar & Eatery and the food and wine matches were fantastic.
A special mention must go to Travis Field and Paul Burns. A special mention in particular to Paul who has just completed his first year in the position of CEO. He is doing a fantastic job and is putting his heart and soul into the role. Well done Paul and the wider Big Buddy team!
