The Role
The key role of the Financial Accountant is to support the business by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the core financial information.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the month end process to achieve timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare month end Market and Consolidated Financial Statements in full compliance with corporate and legal standards and management commentary and meet strict deadlines
- Manage Tax planning, reporting and accounting
- Prepare Tax returns in full compliance with corporate and legal standards
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly Cash Management processes and controls
- Develop and maintain Foreign Exchange processes and controls
- Support management in rolling out and maintaining an adequately documented internal control environment, ensure that activities are effective and that work processes, reports and systems are aligned and efficient
- Improve Finance policy, guidelines and instructions framework
- Ensure processing of efficient daily / periodic accounting activities to meet overall business objectives
Your Profile
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualified
- Experience in manufacturing costing, and/or compliance and internal control is advantageous
- This role could also suit someone looking to move out of an audit firm into industry
