About the role

We’re looking for a hands on Marketing Specialist with a strong retail background and proven eCommerce experience to help drive brand growth, customer engagement, and commercial performance across digital and in-store channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver multi channel marketing campaigns that support trading priorities and drive customer engagement
  • Manage digital activity across social, email, website, and paid channels
  • Support eCommerce growth through content updates, promotional activity, and optimisation of the customer journey
  • Use customer and campaign insights to refine targeting, messaging, and performance
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Procurement, Operations, Leadership) to ensure alignment of campaigns and promotions
  • Work with external agencies to deliver creative, media, and digital output effectively
  • Track and analyse results, turning data into recommendations and improvements
  • Manage and monitor budgets to ensure spend is efficient and aligned to commercial goals

Key experience

  • Experience in marketing, ideally from retail with an eCommerce led environment
  • Strong experience delivering integrated campaigns across digital and in store channels
  • Confident managing budgets and reporting on performance
  • Skilled in social media, email, website management, and paid digital platforms
  • Data-driven thinker who loves understanding what works and why
  • Collaborative, organised, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • A proactive self-starter who enjoys being close to the action in a business

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with sales and product teams, the Marketing Manager will design and implement marketing strategies that generate leads, support sales growth, and elevate the brand on a local and global stage. Key Responsibilities

You’ll own the brand, its architecture, visual identity, tone of voice, strategy, and how it shows up in grocery and pharmacy channels Trans-Tasman.  This is a rare mix of big-picture brand leadership with a roll-your-sleeves-up, entrepreneurial energy. You’ll lead a talented marketing team of two, work cross-functionally with the wider business, and play a pivotal role in shaping Glow Lab’s innovation, category strategy, retailer presence, and customer experience.

What you’ll lead:
  
Brand & Portfolio Strategy

  • Own and evolve the Glow Lab brand identity, architecture and positioning across categories and markets.
  • Drive brand and category strategy, including meaningful expansion in Australia.
  • Shape strategies that build relevance, distinction and long-term brand love.

Marketing Campaigns & Channels

  • Lead compelling, insight-driven marketing campaigns with clear objectives and robust post-campaign reviews.
  • Oversee all channels across retailer marketing, ATL, PR, events, digital and social ensuring strong partnerships and data-led optimisation.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure investment drives strong ROI.

Innovation & Category Leadership

  • Own the Stage & Gate process and lead the product review stage of S&OP.
  • Use insights, shopper data and category trends to guide portfolio evolution and business strategy.

Retailer & Channel Partnership

  • Play a key role in Joint Business Planning and channel growth, particularly within pharmacy.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Collaborate across the business as the “voice of the consumer”, influencing decisions across Exec, MD, Board and cross-functional teams.

Key attributes we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years in FMCG brand management and marketing people leadership.
