About the role:

As the Social Media Manager you will be adding an extra splash of fun and flair to the online presence. This role is your chance to dive headfirst into the exciting world of social media, crafting thumb-stopping content and building buzz with influencers.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assume the role of a social media champion from strategy to execution, ruling platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube & Linkedin and more.
  • Create engaging content for various digital channels, including websites, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of social trends and take charge on competitor analysis.
  • Be responsible for our content calendar, create captivating monthly content that tells our story, showcases our products, and sparks engagement.
  • Analyse content performance and ROI, use data-driven insights to refine and enhance social strategy.
  • Influencer management: build relationships with influencers on PR partnerships and events.
  • Be the go-to for customer comments, inquiries, responding with warmth and speed.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and aesthetics across all digital and social platforms.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Three – four years’ experience in a digital marketing / content creation focused role, preferably with premium products.
  • Proficiency in content creation, including writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram & Tik Tok.
  • Experience with content management systems and email marketing software.
  • Familiarity with graphic design principles and basic video editing skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market demand.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the product portfolio, including identifying opportunities for expansion or consolidation.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify new product opportunities.
  • Communicate product strategies, objectives, and performance metrics effectively to key stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Ensure consistency in brand identity and messaging across all product-related communication channels.
  • Take complete ownership of product compliance and ensure all QA’s, product registration & documentation are in place.
  • Develop and manage project plans for NPD initiatives, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial objectives.

Key Requirements

  • Five plus years’ experience in a marketing role within the beauty / FMCG industry.
  • A proven ability to work with tight deadlines and prioritise what is important.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • You must have a drive to succeed and be genuinely passionate about the beauty industry!
  • Unafraid to bring out creative ideas but also open to rolling up their sleeves and be on the tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment.
  • A go-getter with energy, creativity, and determination to continuously improve and push boundaries.
