About the Role
  
As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be the creative mastermind behind the content strategy for the New Zealand arm of this business.  You will develop and execute content that captivates a diverse audience, drives brand awareness and supports strong business objectives and strategy. Specifically, this role will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s values and is bespoke to New Zealand.
  • Create and oversee a broad range of content, including blog posts, webinars, social media updates, white papers and case studies.
  • Manage the content calendar ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery across all platforms.
  • Manage agency relationships, providing in depth briefs as they support the marketing team with innovative content.
  • Work collaboratively with leaders across the business in the production of content to assist their teams elevate their market presence.
  • Support the Head of Marketing on brand initiatives.
  • Support the Communications team on developing and implementing bespoke communications strategies.
  • Lead and support a small team as part of the Marketing Leadership group.

Key attributes

  • 7+ years in a senior content focused marketing role in a B2B environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong analytical capability to identify trends and content that engages and informs.
  • Experience in building successful content strategies/campaigns across a variety of channels.
  • High quality copywriting and content creation capability. 
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship capability internally and externally.

Reduced to Clear was founded in 2008, with a vision to minimise food wastage and to ultimately help New Zealand families stretch their grocery budgets and save money on their favourite food brands each week.

Reduce to Clear ultimately takes surplus or clearance stock from suppliers, importers and manufacturers and sells it at heavily discounted prices to the public. 

With 15 stores around the North Island, Reduced to Clear carries all kinds of bargains from frozen product, yoghurt and cheeses to chocolate and drinks and general merchandise.  New stock arrives daily, and most items are up to 50 – 80% off normal RRP.

Role overview:

Reduced to Clear are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join its growing team. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the CEO on developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to drive brand growth, enhance market presence, and achieve key business
objectives.

Key responsibilities:

    • Lead the development of brand campaigns, including digital, print, and in-store promotions.
    • Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to design and produce marketing content and collateral that resonates with target audiences.
    • Manage and coordinate marketing campaigns from conception to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Track and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including social media (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn), email marketing, and content marketing.
    • Oversee website updates and maintenance as well as developing Reduce to Clear’s eCommerce presence and capability.
    • Work closely with the merchandising team on all in-store marketing activities including in-store promotions and product placements, POS, in-store marketing activations and events.
    • Foster excellent relationships with Reduced to Clear buyers to ensure product placement and promotions are optimised. 

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience within retail, with a proven track record of successful campaign management and brand development.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Innovative and proactive with a passion for driving brand success. 
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional value.

About the role

The primary objective of this newly established role is to develop, implement, and oversee PPC campaigns for ecommerce and lead generation clients, with the goal of enhancing client retention and boosting spending.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Optimisation: Efficiently optimise and manage numerous Google Ads accounts, ensuring effective setup, monitoring, and continuous performance adjustments.
  • New Campaign Setup & Campaign Management: Oversee the setup of 2-4 new client campaigns per month, managing 25-50 active campaigns based on complexity, ensuring successful execution and results.
  • Lead Tracking: Manage lead tracking to ensure precise performance insights.
  • Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement: Strategic planning and execution to achieve client objectives. Strong understanding of top, middle, and bottom-of-the-funnel dynamics. Formulate and implement effective performance marketing strategies, providing actionable insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Funnel Management: Apply expertise in campaign funnels and the buyer’s journey to create and communicate comprehensive strategies that address all funnel stages.
  • Platform Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in Google Ads and Facebook Ads, with a focus on eCommerce
  • Sales Mindset: Approach marketing with a sales-oriented mindset to drive conversions and achieve client goals effectively.
  • Team Support: Relieve cognitive load for team members by confidently managing responsibilities and delivering results, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration.

About you

  • Agency Experience: Current or recent experience working in a digital marketing agency environment.
  • Strategic Expertise: Proven ability to create and execute long-term eCommerce strategies, with a solid grasp of all levels of the marketing funnel (top, middle, bottom).
  • Campaign Funnel Knowledge: Strong understanding of campaign funnels and the purchase/lead journey, with the ability to effectively communicate strategies at all funnel stages.
  • Technical Skills: Essential Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), with a strong focus on Google Ads and Facebook Ads. Experience with LinkedIn and other digital channels is advantageous. Has ability to leverage advanced PPC tools
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in delivering results and managing multiple projects and campaigns efficiently.

About the role:
  
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for planning and executing a strategic Marketing and Communications calendar across the APAC region.  You will be responsible for developing go-to-market product campaigns, driving all communications initiatives, managing the work allocated to agencies and building strong relationships internally and externally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Marketing with creating and implementing bespoke Marketing and Comms plans internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive go-to-market and campaign plans.
  • Plan and execute an internal and external communications calendar.

Key requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum 7+ experience in a similar role, in a B2B or highly regulated industry.
  • Exceptional writer who can produce technical and complex content to a knowledgeable audience, in a simple and engaging manner.
  • Compelling story telling capability with the ability to have a nuanced approach across multiple channels.
  • Self-starter, who thrives with accountability and responsibility.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Experience working with CRMs.
