Description

The Role

Hunter Campbell are happy to be working with a global business who are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team based in either Sydney, Melbourne of Brisbane.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional sales results with both existing and potential clients. With a focus on B2B sales, you will be comfortable with solution-based selling and be able to work cross functionally internally to achieve the desired outcome. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key customer accounts by developing strong relationships, understanding business strategies, delivering new product introductions, and driving initiatives to win and retain key customers.
  • Lead strategic projects and account plans, ensuring alignment with customer goals, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining project briefs in Atlas to deliver on time and within scope.
  • Deliver commercial performance by preparing accurate monthly sales forecasts, achieving sales targets, driving new wins against budget, and following up on customer payments to support business growth.
  • Provide outstanding customer experience through regular customer visits, proactive presentations, timely issue resolution, and consistent communication of value-added solutions.
  • Monitor and report performance with clear monthly reporting on wins and forecasts, while analysing competitive and market trends to inform internal stakeholders and improve decision-making.

Key Experience

  • 5 years in a technical sales role ideally in a food or related industry.
  • Understanding of the ingredients industry, preferably flavours and has experience.
  • Working with technical teams to execute strategic sales plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business or any relevant area.
  • Experience with Salesforce or complex internal systems desirable.
