About the role:
As one of our clients Demand Planners, you will be responsible for building and maintaining accurate forecasts that help the business plan ahead. This role sits within a team of Demand Planners that are category split. In this role you will work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to anticipate customer demand, support product launches, and ensure the right stock is available at the right time.
This role is key to balancing supply with demand, reducing waste, and maintaining high service levels across New Zealand. You’ll also contribute to ongoing improvements in forecasting tools, processes, and cross-functional communication.
About you:
You have proven experience in demand planning and a solid understanding of how forecasting impacts the broader supply chain. You’re comfortable working with data, drawing insights from trends, and collaborating across functions to drive accurate and reliable outcomes. FMCG experience is essential, and experience within the New Zealand market is highly desirable—you understand local customer behaviours, promotional cycles, and how these influence demand. You’ll also bring strong systems knowledge, a high level of capability on Excel (you will be working on very large datasets), excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
